Abstract

• South Kalimantan's economy in the first quarter of 2018 was measured by the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) reaching Rp 39.81 trillion. When compared to the same period in the previous year (yo y), then this value is growing at 5.01 percent.
• In comparison with the previous quarter (q-to-q), South Kalimantan's economy grew by -3.96 percent in Q1 / 2018.
• In terms of production, in the first quarter of 2018 the highest growth category was the category of financial and insurance services which amounted to 12.69 percent. In terms of expenditure, the largest growth occurred in the component of LNPRT consumption expenditure which reached 10.02 percent.
