Abstract

• In June 2018 the NTP of South Kalimantan was recorded at 94.66, up 0.38 percent compared to May 2018 at 94.31. The rise in NTP is due to the price index received by farmers (It) rose 0.95 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) only rose 0.57 percent.

• In June 2018 in rural areas South Kalimantan experienced inflation of 0.69 percent, where the price index rose across all subgroups with increases ranging from 0.02 to 1.28 percent.

• The exchange rate of agricultural domestic households (NTUP) of South Kalimantan in June 2018 was 103.00 or increased by 0.67 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month which reached 102.31.

• The average price of grain quality of dry harvest (GKP) at the farm level rose by 3.11 percent, from Rp 4,736.40 per kg in May 2018 to Rp 4,883.57 per kg in June 2018. Similarly, the milling rate increased 2.95 percent from Rp 4,833.21 per kg in May 2018 to Rp 4,975.61 per kg in June 2018.
