Abstract

• In July 2018, NTP of Kalimantan Selatan was 94.02, down 0.68 percent compared to June 2018 at 94.66. The decline in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) fell 0.01 percent, and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rose 0.67 percent.

• In July 2018 in rural areas Kalimantan Selatan experienced inflation of 0.83 percent, where the price index rose across all subgroups with increases ranging from 0.17 to 1.65 percent.

• Agricultural Domestic Appliances Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Selatan July 2018 amounted to 102.76 or decreased by 0.22 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month which reached 103.00.

• Average price of grain quality of dry harvest (GKP) at the farm level rose by 1.79 percent, from Rp 4,883.57 per kg in June 2018 to Rp 4,971.03 per kg in July 2018. Similarly, the milling rate increased 1.91 percent from Rp 4,975.61 per kg in June 2018 to Rp 5,070.58 per kg in July 2018.
