Exports of Kalimantan Selatan in June 2019 Decreased 11.17 Percent and Imports Increased by 23.55 Percent

Abstract

• The export value through ports in South Kalimantan in June 2019 reached US $ 613.45 million, down 11.17 percent compared to exports in May 2019 which reached US $ 690.55 million and decreased 12.27 percent compared to the export value in June 2018 reached US $ 699.27 million. The group of commodity commodities based on HS 2 digits which were the most exported were mineral fuels (HS 27) amounting to US $ 525.71 million and the largest export destination country was China with a value of US $ 178.69 million.

• The import value of South Kalimantan in June 2019 was US $ 112.49 million or an increase of 23.55 percent compared to imports in May 2019 which reached US $ 91.05 million. Whereas when compared with the import value in June 2018, this value increased by 20.23 percent, which at that time reached US $ 93.56 million. The commodity commodities based on HS 2 digits which were most imported were mineral fuels (HS 27) amounting to US $ 86.84 million and import origin countries with the largest value being Singapore amounting to US $ 64.68 million.

• South Kalimantan's export and import trade balance in June 2019 was a surplus of US $ 500.96 million. Smaller than South Kalimantan's export import trade balance last month which was a surplus of US $ 599.50 million.
