Data on socio-economic conditions provide an overview of development achievements and are also useful for policymakers to evaluate development programs. Data related to the basic needs of the community such as clothing, food, housing, education, health, security, and employment opportunities are necessary to assess the extent to which development outcomes reach all segments of society.
